9 STONES
4 photographs to represent my walking around the White Caterthun (iron age fort) in an apron, placing 9 handmade papier-mache stones onto the ground. I placed 2 at each cardinal compass point and one in the well. North is called Wirren (Hill of the Wirren is to the North), East is called North Sea (North Sea to the east), South is called Aberlemno (Aberlemno Pictish Stones are to the South) and West is called Schiehallion (it's to the west). The papier mache pulp has poppy seeds mixed into it also.
